The four new IIMs – IIM Ranchi, Rohtak, Raipur and Trichy – have decided to conduct the post-CAT admission process jointly. The new IIMs have announced that their GD PI processes will be conducted in a combined manner in four centers: Bangalore, Mumbai, Delhi and Kolkata.
IIM Ranchi, Rohtak and Raipur had recently declared the names of the shortlisted candidates for the GD, PI, Writing Ability Test (WAT). Around 3,000 MBA aspirants will appear for the GD PI processes at the four centres.
The GD PI processes will be held in February-March 2011 as per following schedule: Mumbai, 8-13 March; Delhi, 15-22 March; Bangalore, 28 February to March 6; Kolkata, 26-30 March.
The responsibility of each of the four GD PI centers has been allocated to the four IIMs. There will be one coordinator. IIM Rohtak will be the coordinator for this year.
IIM Ranchi has decided to admit 70 students this year, IIM Raipur and IIM Trichy will admit 60 students and IIM Rohtak will admit around 120 to 130 students.
