Hello Everyone

IIM Tiruchirappalli (IIM Trichy), the 11th and the newest IIM, will be functional from the academic year 2011-13. IIM Bangalore, the mentor institute of IIM Trichy, has announced the Admission Criteria for the intake of the first batch of students. 

According to the announcement the shortlist of the candidates will be created on the basis of the past academic records and CAT 2010 scores. Let us have a look at the criteria in detail.

 
The overall cut off marks of CAT 2010 for a General category candidate is 90. Let us have a look at the sectional cut offs.

The GD PI will be held in Mumbai, Bangalore, Delhi and Kolkata. IIM Trichy will be conducting the GD PI rounds jointly with IIM Rohtak, Raipur and Ranchi. After IIM Trichy shortlists the candidates, IIM Rohtak, the coordinator of the joint admissions process, will send the call letters. The GD PI will be held from February end to March 2011.

Mentored by IIM Bangalore, IIM Trichy will function temporarily at the National Institute of Technology campus.
