Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology, Nagpur. Established in 1960, our Institute is one of the premier Institutes offering Bachelor of Technology degrees in this country. A recent survey ranked us as the 20th best engineering college in this country. Our student community, selected through the All India Engineering Entrance Examinations, represents the cream of India's engineering talent. Every year in February, we organize our youth cultural festival Aarohi. Over the years, Aarohi has established itself to be Central India's Biggest Youth Cultural Festival. Aarohi 09 was a phenomenal success with a footfall of more than 15000 people from all over India.
Come winter, the chilly days bring with them an unprecedented medley of excitement, apprehension and tension. However, as the gates to the biggest cultural fest of Central India are opened, our endeavors and enterprises come to fruition. The cultural extravaganza studded with electrifying and exhilarating events and competitions witnesses a massive populace of the region zeroing in on the sprawling VNIT campus to be a part of the Tour de Force. Conceptualized way back in 1988, Aarohi has came a long way in all realms both qualitatively and quantitatively and has firmly ensconced itself as the centerpiece of the cultural spectrum of the region.
