National Institute of Technology, Silchar Assam is organizing its Annual Business Festival "BizArcade'10" on 6th
and 7th March 2010.
BIZ-ARCADE 2010 is an initiative of the INDUSTRY INSTITUTE PARTNERSHIP CELL of National Institute of Technology, Silchar. Industry Institute Partnership Cell (An AICTE Initiative) is cell which is functioning in order to establish a platform of enhancing relationship between the institute and industries, there by increasing the opportunities for the students of our college for internships, live project and to acquaint the students beforehand of the demands of the corporate atmosphere. It facilitates in the process of providing consultancy services to the industries and business organization by the faculty members of the institute in order to enhance and move one step ahead in the existing cordial relationship between industry and institute.
BIZ-ARCADE 2010 has been Regional Engineering College (REC), Silchar the prime aim was to provide technical excellence fashioned at developing India and putting India on the global map. Over the years, it has gained recognition as a renowned technical college. In the year 2002, it got transformed into National Institute of Technology and was bestowed with the status of Deemed University by MHRD. In 2007 again, it become an Institute of National Importance under the NIT Act 2007 of Govt. of India.
NIT Silchar in proper terms is a hub of technical and creative activity. Being an 'Institute of National Importance' it fosters a strong cultural bond amid the pupils and also caters to the growth of the existent harmonic relationship between the neighboring nations.
With fast changing economy and rapid global development, the growth of capitalistic ambience is booming. Today development not only hints at self-prosperity but also envelopes the need of strategic planning, optimum design and smooth execution which eventually leads to the overall progress of the society.
