Visvesvaraya National Institute Of Technology, Nagpur is organizing its Management and Business Fest "CONSORTIUM'10" on 6th
and 7th 2010.
In its introductory year, the event aims at manifesting the latent Entrepreneurial spirit of young students and opening new ways of success as well as providing a pathway for an entrepreneurial success.CONSORTIUM'10 is an event that aims at creating waves in its thinking, and innovation.
It may sound queer that an Engineering college must have a management festival, but it has taken a big leap of faith in getting the act together-and how! As the world increasingly shifts stands from selective capitalism to inclusive entrepreneurship, why must we be far behind? The answer to this question lies in the very face of it.
Inclusive Entrepreneurship is a very stupendous idea that swells from the heart of India, answer to bring the million jobless in the country to the fore by providing them employment opportunities. So who's doing the thinking bit??WE ARE. Thus, were planted the seeds of a revolutionary Business fest in an engineering college that promises to give the ideal platform for exposing gifted individuals. The Countdown has begun.
EVENTS:
1) BPlan : Entrepreneurship is, in all probability, the buzz word for the current generation. The B-Plan event provides the ideal platform for budding entrepreneurs to showcase their innovative ideas and convert their dreams into reality through Incubation. Last day for submission of executive summary is 7th February,2010
2) Bizmantra : In the world of business and management, the best trump card that can be held by any executive or manager is marketing. If the marketing of the product/service is done appropriately, a shrewd marketing manager can even sell fire to Satan himself. Marketing is quintessential weapon for every arsenal.
3) 24 : 24 brings together the brightest minds from all over the country in a highly anticipated, fiercely contested struggle to attain the zenith in the world of business. The members of each team fill in the shoes of the top brass of a company, and will face an array of complex managerial challenges and breath-taking surprises that will stump the smartest, outwit the shrewdest and squeeze the last ounce out of each and every participant. After the most gruelling 8 hours of their lives,only the best of the best will survive to be crowned the ultimate corporate warriors.
4) Sansad : Let's get to what we are known for - Being the largest democracy. In this event, the participants can become a part of mock parliament. Each team will consist of two members. Two bills will be provided to them and they will have to present two amendments each for both the bills with logical argument about each bill.
5) E-Summit : E-Summit is a unique initiative by VNIT, Nagpur which serves as a common platform for aspiring, budding and successful entrepreneurs to interact and help build successful enterprises.
