Chitkara Institute of Engineering And Technology, Rajpura in association with student chapters’ of seven renowned technical societies across the globe proudly unveils, a national level technical fest “Praudyogikii’10 ” on 15^th and 16^th March 2010.

With an aim to provide a platform for students to present their views, share their experiences, intellectual ideas and challenges in the field of technical developments,this is an initiative of its unique type to promote the innovative ideas of technical undergraduates.

Events List

UNRAVEL – THE HIDDEN BUG:

Teams will be given a complex program with complicated bugs, they have to remove all the bugs and give a short presentation/DEMO explaining the working of program .Thisevent is organized by international society ACM (Association OfComputing Machinery).

ROBO ALL TERRAIN :

The challenge before participants is to build a mechanically controlled robot (wired or wire less) capable of handling extreme country terrain(steep climbs ,dust tracks , etc) and capability to push others out of the arena.This event is organized by international society IETE (Institute of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers)

Decoding Da Vinci :

The main objective in this event is to construct some mechanisms according to the problem statement given in each round.
Round 1: Construct a boomerang with given material that tends to come back to the start position.
Round 2: Design and build a small cart that can propel itself down a flat level track.
Round 3: Convert a battery operated remote controlled toy car into a catapult using given material .
This event is organized by international society ASME(American Society of Mechanical Engineers).

Vitrine-Innovation Unleashed:

This event provides a platform where innovative minds will present their ideas in the form of model based digital poster presentation. This event is organized by international society IE ( Institute of Engineers ).

CAD Combat :

This event consist of a competition of CAD designing which involves designing of various figures\components etc. That will be judged by Expert\Professional. This event is organized by international society SAE ( Society Automotive Engineers).

CRACKLE:

This event consist of three rounds. First round consist of objective type quiz on networking, protocol suits and security measures .Second round consist of configuration of given applications /assignment and third round consist of cracking of that applications.Thisevent is organized by international society IEEE(Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers)

JUNKYARD SAMURAI :

This events consists of three rounds in which first round consists of MCQ’S on technical vision & second round is basically based on creativityi.e. to form a power point presentation & last round is to develop a project from scrap\trash material.This event is organized by international society ISTE ( InternationalSociety of Technical Education).
