SVKM's NMIMS, the brand name which just rants out its success with the sheen of pride and passion studded around itself. Here we are, today at the verge of producing technocrats, managers and all round skilled professionals. Established in 1981, the institute has flourished to render the best education to many of the students across India. Set up with the Narsee Monjee Education Trust, under the quintessence group of Shri Ville Parle Kelavani Mandal, Mumbai, it fledges across world as a valued management Institution. Since then NMIMS has grown into a flourishing University, offering courses / programs across various disciplines, such as Management, Technology, Science, Pharmacy, Architecture and Commerce. In this span of time NMIMS has grown to an outstanding academic establishment.

Shirpur, a North Maharashtra's area on the border of Gujarat, Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh, has State-of-art infrastructure facilities provided to the students with quality education. Shirpur is a perfect example of a model township which has been developed by local organizations under the leadership of Hon'ble Shri. Amrishbhai Patel, President SVKM and Chancellor, SVKM's NMIMS University. It attires charm to be the best of the others. Here we are, we present to you ourselves in Shirpur Campus Annual Fest PROTSAHAN. We present ourselves "AS WE ARE". A four day pristine activity gears up the student for experiencing the variegated colours of the life. Students are here to subvert the paradigms of the limits of each other. A set of well organized events have been studded in Protsahan - 10. Fest is sub divided into three parts: GALEXUS, TAPISH, CHAK DE.

GALEXUS:- It is an invitation to all the tech savvy students. Robotics Workshop, Ethical Hacking workshop, Discuss It Up, Spelling Bee, LAN Gaming: Football, Counter Strike, Fun Zone: Pocket Tanks as well, Paper Presentation for the sharpening the skills, Poster Presentation for the mercurial innovativeness of the students, C Coding, Quiz and much much more.

TAPISH.:- The cultural events also go along strong with lavish to bring out the voice of the inner soul of the student. Invincible talent infused into one gallon of molten gold.. Skits having the major attraction along with Singing and Dancing add colour to the evening and brings out the inured talent of the student. Also the cut throat competition is bringing the best out of the students. Dancing is the electric heels of our students group. Here groovy steps, funky beats and rocking performances will set the stage ablaze. The Tansens of today will test their vocal chords in Unplugged , the competition for the singers. NM Roadies is the taste that will spice up your mood for the grueling phases for becoming "OUT"standing from what we call "others". There will be many more creative events.

CHAK DE :-.Competitive sports at its best is how the spectators would describe CHAK DE. Being the sports competition of NMIMS this draws participation from different teams. Held over the course of these four days, it sees the hostelites indulge in the ultimate battle to win the coveted championship. The various sports which comprise CHAK DE are : Badminton, Basket Ball, Cricket, Volley Ball, Football, Handball, Table Tennis, Chess,Box Cricket,Box Football and much much more.

Protsahan guarantees you four days of sheer excitement, fun and enjoyment. This is one fest nobody should miss. So come be a part of Protsahan.
