Surge 2010 :- Mexperts NIT Kurukshetra - April

A postgraduate society created to empower the students of National Institute of Technology, Kurukshetra and cater to their special needs and requirements by way of united team efforts,brain storming and organizing excellence.
The idea of MEXPERTS creation was finalized on March 21,2008 in the post-graduate hostel of the institute by two PG students.Within two days, the 10 member founder member committee was setup comprising of MBA,MCA and M.Tech students who shared the vision behind the society. It was less than a month of sheer hardwork that MEXPERTS organized a two day national level techno-Cultural fest SURGE...08 which witnessed the encouraging participation of 21 colleges.SURGE...08 was the show to provide the platform to the post-graduate students to display their competence and talent. It served two motives:
A. Creating awareness about the PG courses in the whole region.
B. Initiation of a greater socio-professional network built-up for multifaceted benefits
The SURGE...10 has been created. The possibilities are immense and the sky is to be explored ! Yet we keep our feet on ground and focus on the bird's eye i.e the ultimate goal to be flawless, which is a never ending pursuit and way of life.
For MEXPERT'S, SURGE...10 is not only a festival, but the commencement of metamorphosis of mere study conscious souls to smart professionals.. The MEXPERTS is destined to be a turn around initiative which will churn out the champions with the inner drive to posses extra weapons in their armour in this ongoing war of skill superiority and it is a post graduate society created to empower the students of National Institute of Technology,Kurukshetra and cater to their special needs and requirements by way of united team efforts and organization.
SURGE…08 was organized to provide the platform to the Post- graduate students to went out their competence and talent. It created a bond between the students of institutions of the whole region.
Carrying on with the benchmarks setup, Surge…09 was organized on 22-23rd Feb, 2009. The number of Participant Colleges rose from 21 to 35 with number of events growing from 25 to 34.
The fest generated overwhelming response with around 2000 people attending on The Valedictory Function.
