Freshersworld :: Campus Fests - PALLAVI 09 on feb 21, the largest college cultural extravaganza

St. Margaret Engineering College are proud to present our annual college festival, Techbloom'09. Several events of exceptional relevance have been planned to make Techbloom'09 the college festival in India .Techbloom'09 will be held from 19th to 21st of November.

Events :-

Technical

1. Techno Memoire (PPT)

It is an event in which participant will prevent the results on latest trends, emerging technologies and business advancement. The participants should be an effective orator to communicate his search to the audience in the form of slides and graph.

2. Projectum Expo(Project Exhibition)

Techies are invited to spread and share the treasures of their skills. A platform to present creativity and zeal to achieve goals will accomplish all desires. Golden opportunity to learn now concepts, logics and also to share innovative ideas and aesthetics.

3. X-Bots (Robo Wars)

Enjoy the thrill of humanoid soccer and be a part of an interesting battle. The event has a plethora of to get things performed by robots, include kicking, picking walking of objects. Don’t give a miss to this one. Build your own Autobot and prepare it for battle.

4. Softempore(On the spot coding)

Softempore is all about assimilating raw imaginations and exploiting the engineering skills in structuring the ideas into well defined codes. The event will test your knowledge of the programming skills/maturity and the way, it is presented. It will be an on the spot testing followed by prelim and finals

5. BOSS (Business Oriented Strategic Simulation)

How good are your crises – management sills? Put in a trying situation how best can you use the resources at your disposal? To know the answer, be apart of BOSS, a contest that will require smart thinking and a desire to be the change you want to see. The participants are supposed to propose efficient business plans and showcase it efficiently.

6. Brainstorm (Technical Quiz)

A technical fest without a tech-quiz is like body without brain .The quiz is one of the most looked forward in the fest which is sure to trust & boggle your brains. With exciting rounds based on technical & general knowledge it promises to be one of the best crowd pullers.

7. The Conclave (Debate)

A grand initiative intended to be a forum for best brains from various discipline of engineering and other fields. This event provides a platform for its participants to express their opinions on respective topic.

8. AD Stress:

For those passionate about electronics, come and compete with the various minds that have discrete perception of analogue and digital concepts. If the participants have A/D knowledge then accept the challenge and crack and queries comprises of two rounds, prelims and final.

9. Circuit Twister (Troubleshooting)

Techbloom presents the unique opportunity to put one’s genius work in designing solutions to problems .The participants are provided with a twinge circuit which is required to be rectified leading to a relevant outcome .

CULTURAL

For an overall personality development cultural activities play an important role along with education.

1. Jackson Reborn (Dance competition Solo & Group)

Dance is like an essence of life. It is a language of expressing one’s self through his body language and facial expression. As a tribute to the legend, MICHAEL JACKSON, the participants can present their items in various dance forms under the Group Dance & Solo Dance categories.

2. Fashion Feat (Fashion Show)

Trends come & go but there is one thing that remains forever FASHION. The right event to bring out an amalgam of different cultures in a coherent form. So gear up guys and gals to be the change you want to be and bring out the best style statements in you.

3. Impressions (Street play)

Street plays are a broad category of visual expression that is leased on the attempt in one manner or another. This is a perfect way to give message to the youth. One needs to be interactive, extrovert, expressive to win the challenge. This event aims to direct we point of view about social, political, and economic life through we act.

4. Rock On (Battle of Bands)

This attack-and-defend mechanic controls the tug-of-war between the bands when one is leading, others get bleeding, flipping between hip-hop/funk, rock, country, marching band and metal. The songs all have these versions, so you could hear "Whoomp! (There it is)" as country or "Man of Constant Sorrow" in hip-hop.
