July 27, 2010 Category : Careers & Training
If you look at my profile closely, I began my career with Wipro Technologies way back in 2005. I was campus hired from college and I still remembered that day when I got the offer letter.
I am sure scenarios would have changed over the period of time but still, a lot of what we did and understood would remain.
I joined WIPRO in July 2005 and it was my very first exposure to the Corporate world. I have indeed learned a lot from my peers and managers at WIPRO and it was a great experience to work at such a world class company.
WIPRO currently has over 1, 10,000 employees worldwide and is in the process of increasing its work force. After all, talent is what drives companies and to recruit the right candidate is every companies need.
What does WIPRO look for in people?
1.Good communication skills – This is a critical aspect as programmers in the long run generally take up customer facing roles and WIPRO being a multi cultural environment, good communication skills are also critical for you to talk to fellow colleagues.
2.Strong Fundamentals – An analytical mindset is required to actually work on business critical projects.
WIPRO has openings for:
1.Engineers
2.Other Graduates
