Its been a long time I wrote a blog on Freshersworld.com and I guess its the right time!

Colleges have reopened and its a new semester. For all our friends who have passed out of college, we wish them all the best in all new endeavors. For all of you who have still not found a job, do not worry. We have a lot of updates on our site and we can also see that there are a number of opportunities in the IT and other sectors.

But to our rockstars, the Campus Ambassadors, I have some updates.

The CA programme was very well received and we had a great time last semester. There were a number of events across the country and I myself got the opportunity to travel to colleges and also party with the CAs.

Many CAs conducted events in their colleges, many came down to our office on internships and everyone was happy sporting our T Shirts and bags in campus!

We are really very happy about the campaign and we wish to taking this to a higher level this year.

This time, we have set a target to select 1000 Campus Ambassadors across and we are going full steam in doing that. However, I would like to reiterate some of the advantages of being a CA since we have had some CAs just being CAs for the sake of getting the freebies.

1. Exposure to the Corporate world (I am the guy you are talking to all the time, if you call me a Corporate, hehe)

And immense bragging rights.

In this initiative, we also have Imran, who joined us this year helping us in recruiting and engaging CAs.. Imran is a previous CA and a highly talented guy! In his post, Imran talks about the CA events planned for 2010 -2011
