"I exist only when doing something new"
Updates from Cochin!

I am on a work/personal holiday and I have a couple of updates all the way from Cochin. Incidentally, we have the least number of members / traffic from Kerala though a lot of our work happens from here! I am clueless if this has to do with the Mallu's attitude. Has anyone got any idea?

I took some time off from my holiday to meet people.

The most influential blogger on Freshersworld.com is Reshmi Nair. Reshmi writes on Personality Development I went to Reshmi's place accompanied by my friend JK. Below, a picture of my friend JK gifting the bag to Reshmi. Reshmi treated me to some chai and chips! So if you are blogging on Freshersworld.com and you are doing well, we might send you some freebies or even come over to your place! We love our audience / members more than anyone else!

We have had some wonderful interns working with us last summer. They are still doing some projects with us. I met Sandeep and Sreejith at a roadside thela at 11 30 PM after their classes got over. Apparently, it seems that the MBA guys sometimes have classes till 11 PM. I updated them on whats been happening in office since they left. We treat Campus Ambassadors, interns and others as part of our family! Sitting in a car, Sreejith and Sandeep showed me some of the new products they are working on.

Our C.E.O, Joby owns property in a lot of the places! He always tells me about an old house he owns in Cochin. Here is a bonus for Joby, the picture of the house. It certainly needs some "minukku pani". I love this Malayalam word and if you didnt understand, ask a Mallu!!

Adios, Let me have some fun now!

Mallu attitude? I have heard a lot about it :), but personally I believe that at workplace, keralites try to connect to others on a personal level than on the normal colleague level(meaning less of boss's-ass-kissing and backbiting), which is simply fantastic. The reason why there are no much keralites here? Its because keralites compound to only less than 3% of the whole Indian population :)

Being a mallu myself and having lived in Cochin for 17 years, I am very sure that Keralites are wonderful people. But, every state in India is a different market and I am sure companies adopt different strategies for every state. I am really not sure why we don't have too many members from Kerala and am working on some strategy. Can you suggest?

May be keralites don't know freshersworld exist. There are lots of bloggers in Kerala. So i think the only reason why you do not see much of Keralites here is that don't know much bout fresherworld. I am almost an internet addict and the 1st I came to know about fresherworld is only two months back through Reshmi, who is now my colleauge for the past 3 months. So I guess its because of the reach of the name. Or the lack there of it :)
