| For Medical Candidates | i). A postgraduate medical degree viz. MD/MS/MDS in the respective discipline from a recognized University/Institute. ii). For the Post of Geriatric MedicineA Postgraduate medical degree viz. MD in Geriatric Medicine or MD in Medicine from a recognized university/Institute.iii). For the post of Pulmonary Medicine and Sleep DisorderA Postgraduate medical degree viz. MD in Medicine or MD in Respiratory Medicine from a recognized university/Institute.iv). For the post of Emergency MedicineA postgraduate medical degree viz. MD in Medicine from a recognized university/Institute v). For the post of Laboratory Medicine:-A postgraduate medical degree viz. MD in Laboratory Medicine / Pathology / Microbiology / Biochemistry from a recognized University / Institute. |
| For Non-Medical Candidates (For subjects of Anatomy, Biophysics and Pharmacology) | i). The candidate should possess M.Sc Degree in the subject concerned and (ii). Ph.D in the subject concerned/allied subject from a recognized University/Institute. |
| ). For the posts of Senior Demonstrators in Medical Physics | M.Sc in Medical Physics with one year experience OR its equivalent recognized qualification OR M.Sc in Physics with Diploma in Radiological Physics. (In the event of candidate having M.Sc with Ph.D, the pay scale will be as in the case of other Non-Medical candidates with Phd). |
Age as on 30.06.2013 : 33 yrs
Application Fee: (i) General/OBC category: Rs.1,000/- + transaction charges as applicable. (ii) SC/ST category: Rs.800/- + transaction charges as applicable.(iii) The candidate can pay the application fee through a challan form (to be downloaded from internet while applying online) in any branch of State Bank of India (SBI) or Debit/Credit Card online (Please refer to instructions given in this regard).
Pay Scale :(i). For Medical candidates Rs.18,750+6600 (Grade Pay)+NPA plus other usual Allowances.
(ii). For Non-Medical candidates MSc. with Ph.D Rs.16,740+5400 (Grade Pay) plus other usualÂ
Allowances.(iii). For post of Senior Demonstrators in Medical Physics, (those with MSc) of Rs.12,090 plusÂ
4200 (Grade Pay) plus other usual Allowance.
Selection Procedure: a) The Candidate can apply in only any one Group out of 41 Groups as enlisted.
b) An online written ExaminationThe last date for applying to the posts of Senior Residents/Senior Demonstrators online is 05.06.2013 (by 1700 hrs) online.
