Job Description
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- We are looking for a talented and creative content writer to produce wide variety of health and wellness related content on a daily basis. This role requires you to identify interesting content trends in the consumer health space and write original content based on your own research. . He or she is expected to proof read all articles before putting it on web. The content must be briefly and clearly expressed and engaging. The content should allow the visitors to get their information promptly and efficiently.
- A content writer must understand well and develop user friendly content while using good search engine optimization (SEO) techniques.
Responsibilities:
- Writing content on health and wellness topics assigned to you with guidance from in-house doctors, dietitians, and psychologists.
- Properly researching the web and understanding the topic entirely before writing any kind of content.
- Editing other writers content and providing valuable feedback in terms of content structure and grammar.
- Providing suggestions and brainstorm on the company’s content strategy.
- Designing content for web publishing and social media
- Ensuring consistency, accuracy and originality of content
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (English, Communication, Mass Media preferred)
- Fresher’s or 1year experience in writing content. Preference would be given to the candidate who has experience in writing content in the health and wellness space.
- Strong interest in healthy living, fitness, nutrition, stress management, medical science, etc.
- Exceptional writing skills and the ability to adjust the tone based on the target audience as well as the topic of the content.
- Team player who must also be able to work independently without any constant supervision.
- Proactive candidate who will ask right questions in order to create good content.
- Analytical and detail-oriented Focus on how and why instead of simply stating the facts while writing the content.
- Bonus points if the candidate is a Grammar Nazi who can pick out grammatical errors within seconds.
