Applications are invited from Indian Nationals for grant of Short Service Commission (SSC) in Army Dental Corps.

SSC Officer Dental Corps : 48 posts,

Pay Scale : PB-3 Rs.15600-39100 grade pay Rs.6100 MSP Rs.6000/- plus NPA @35% ,

Qualification :  Candidate must be BDS (with min. 55%) marks in final year/ MDS from a recognised College/University. (ii) Should have completed one year rotary internship,

Age :  Less than 45 years of age as on 31 Dec 2010.

Selection Procedure :-
Short-listing for interview: - Candidates found eligible will be shortlisted based on their Final BDS marks and attempts taken in Final BDS. Short-listed candidates will be required to appear before the Selection Board for interview only. However, all the eligible candidates in possession of MDS degrees recognized by DCI will be called for interview. There will be no shortlisting in their case.

Medical Examination:-
All the candidates who are provisionally placed on the merit list will be brought before a Medical Board for Medical Fitness.

Fee : One DD of Rs.200/- payable at New Delhi in favour of "Director General Armed Forces Medical Services (AP Fund)"
