Educational Qualification :
Assistant Professor, Technical Officer and Assistant Professor on Outsourcing
A Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture/Horticulture.
A Master’s degree in the subject (discipline) concerned with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade.
Should have passed SSC examination or any other equivalent examination with Telugu as one of the subjects or should have studied SSC through the medium of Telugu or should have working knowledge of Telugu.
NET qualification in the concerned discipline is essential.

Application in the prescribed form the Registrar, A.P Horticultural University, Venkatramannagudem, Post Box No.7, Tadepalligudem - 534101, West Godavari District, Andhra Pradesh on or before 15.09.2010.The envelope containing the requisition for application form shall be superscribed “REQUISITION FOR APPLICATION OF DIRECTOR OF EXTENSION/PROFESSOR/ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR/ASSISTANT PROFESSOR/ TECHNICAL OFFICER POST”.
The University was established by the Government of Andhra Pradesh through G.O.Ms.No. 134 dated 26-06-2007 at Venkataramannagudem, near Tadepalligudem in West Godavari District. It is the second Horticultural University in the country. Andhra Pradesh being the leader in the production of mango, oil palm, chillies, turmeric, sweet orange, papaya and second largest producer of total fruits and spices richly deserves Horticultural University to increase the productivity, sustaining the productivity and commercialization of Horticulture in the State
