Age Limit : 27 years as on 30.10.2010.
Pay Scale :
Assistant Engineer (Electrical) : Rs.15,600 - 39,100 GP Rs.5,400/-
Accounts Officer : Rs.15,600 - 39,100 Rs.5,400/-
Supervisor : Rs. 9,300 – 34,800 Rs.4,100/-
Computer Operator-cum- Stenographer : Rs. 5,200 – 20,200 Rs.2,500/-
Selection process :
The eligible candidates may have to undergo a written test comprising of questions in related discipline prescribed for each cadre, logical reasoning, general awareness and aptitude etc. at test centres in Jabalpur, Bhopal, Indore & Gwalior. The written test shall be held any time between December 2010 & January 2011.
Training duration :
The selected candidates except Executive Trainee (Accounts) will undergo 12 months training (extendable upto 24 months). Executive Trainee (Accounts) will undergo training for 3 months. All the selected candidates shall be required to execute a bond to complete the training and to serve the company for 5 years after successful completion of training.
Application Fee :
Demand Draft of Rs. 1,000/- (Rupees One Thousand) only payable at Jabalpur drawn in favour of the Regional Accounts Officer, MP Power Transmission Co.Ltd., Jabalpur. The SC/ST candidates are however exempted from payment of examination fees.
The complete application with copies of the required certificates and Demand Draft as examination fee shall be submitted by ordinary post to the post box No. 7049, Indraprastha, Head Post Office, New Delhi, 110-002 on or before 30.10.2010. Applications sent by any other mode i.e. Registered Post/Speed Post/Courier will be liable to be rejected.
Under Power Sector Reform Programme, Government of Madhya Pradesh has unbundled the M.P. State Electricity Board into five wholly owned State Government Companies, out of which one each has been independently assigned Electricity Generation and Transmission functions and the balance three are Distribution companies responsible for electricity distribution in their respective jurisdiction. M.P. Power Transmission Company Ltd. (MPPTCL) is one of such five companies carved out of MPSEB to undertake the activities relating to electricity transmission within the State of M.P.
