Candidates must possess a Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering of a recognized University or its equivalent and Boiler Operation Engineer proficiency Certificate where class is not mentioned or First Class Boiler operation Engineer Proficiency Certificate where class is mentioned, issued by the Board of Examiners under the Andhra Pradesh Boiler Operation Engineer Rules or by the authority of other states, competent to issue such certificate (as prescribed under Rule-5 of A.P. Boiler Service Rules issued vide G.O.Ms.No. 128, dt. 23/6/1988 of Labour Employment and Technical Education (Lab-iv) Department and as amended in G.O.Ms.No. 135, dt. 4/12/2002 of Energy (CCB) Department. |

Written Examination Centre & Date : The Written Examination will be held on 05/08/2012at Hyderabad.
Procedure of Selection: The Selection Of Candidates For Appointment To The Post will be made by Written Examination (Objective Type) for eligible candidates. The Final selection of these posts will be based on the Written Examination.
Application Fee : Rs. 100/- (Rupees One Hundred Only) towards Application Processing Fee and Examination Fee Rs.120/- (if Candidates are not exempted from payment of Fee). Payment of Rs. 100/- towards application processing fee is compulsory for all Applicants. Mode of Payment of Fee: I Step:-The Candidate has to logon to the website (www.apspsc.gov.in) and enter his/her Basic Personal Details like Name, Father’s Name, Date of Birth, and Community. II Step:-Immediately on entering the above details the Applicant will get (downloadable)- Challan Form to pay the Fee at AP Online centers /State Bank of India. III Step:-The Applicant should pay the prescribed Fee in any one of the A.P. Online centers / State Bank of India and obtain Fee paid challan with Journal Number in the first instance. IV Step:-On the next working day after payment of Fee the Applicant should again visit WEBSITE and enter the Journal Number to get the format of Application. The applicant has to invariably fill all the columns in the Application and should submit ON-Line. Even after making payment of fee, candidate fails to submit the bio-data particulars, such applications shall be rejected without giving any notice. V Step:- If any candidate fails to enter “Community” for any reason, they will be treated as an OC without giving any notice.
AP Public Service Commission came into existence on 1st November, 1956 with the formation of the State of Andhra Pradesh . Before this, there was Andhra Public Service Commission in the Andhra State and Hyderabad Public Service Commission in the Hyderabad State . Andhra Service Commission came into existence only in 1953 after the bifurcation of composite Madras State into Andhra and Madras States.
