Andaman & Nicobar Administration, invites applications for Merit-cum-Means scholarship for the year 2012-13 from the students belonging tot he minority communities www.freshersworld.com

Eligibility : Who pursuing professional and technical course in college/institute recognized by appropriate authority.

The financial assistance will be given to pursue degree/ post graduate level technical and professional course from recognized institutions. Students belonging to minority community who get admission in technical/professional course should have 50% marks at higher secondary/ graduation level. Annual income of the beneficiary/parent of guardian of beneficiary should not exceed 2.50 lakh from all sources. A scholarship holder under this scheme shall not avail any other scholarship/ stipend for pursuing the course.  

Scholarship amount as course fee. maximum of Rs. 20,000/- for not listed institute and full reimbursement of course fee charged for listed colleges and maintenance allowance for Rs. 5,000/- for day scholar & Rs. 10,000/- for hosteller.

Candidates should apply on line up to 30th September, 2012 applicants may be advised to take the printouts of the duly filled in application forms and submitted the same along with all the required documents through their respective institutions/ college to The Directorate of Social Welfare, Port Blair along with the prescribed documents. www.freshersworld.com
