Educational Qualifications : 1. B.Sc. (Agri)/ B.Sc. with minimum OGPA 2.00/4.00 or 50% marks. 2. Second class masters degree in any branch of Agricultural Sciences or Life Sciences with minimum of 55% marks (50% in case of SC/ST/PH) Desirable: 1. Masters in Plant Pathology/Microbiology/Botany 2. M.Sc./Ph.D in Plant Pathology will be given preference
Age : The candidate should be below the age of 40 years

On trifurcation of Punjab in November 1966, Haryana Agricultural University was carved out of PAU by an Act of Parliament in February 1970.
