Did u ever imagine something called as SOCIO-MANAGEMENT FEST...that too organized by TECHNOCRATS only?.....then your imagination just requires a pit stop...because AHWAAN is on "AHWAAN" is a unique Endeavour pioneered by the SSG Society of Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology, Burla. It is the 1st fest of its kind to be conducted solely by technocrats of VSSUT, Burla, in India. As the so called breed of young and aspiring engineers and social entrepreneurs was on a high number, such a platform was needed which could not just be a place of learning like a typical conference but also fun and trips included. This socio-management fest aims to bring together the energies of all the socially positive souls into a collective impact and to ensure inclusive growth and inculcate a culture of giving back to the society in our aspiring and educated youth. In line with VSSUT Burla's focus on developing socially sensitive and technically competent technocrats since 1956, who contribute not only to corporate excellence but also cater the needs of the social sector in India and abroad, VSSUT is organizing "AHWAAN", a socio management festival to create a positive impact on the social and cultural environment in which it functions. It aims to provide a golden opportunity to future technocrats to blend their learning, leadership qualities and awareness about the socio-economic milieu of the city for addressing its pressing civic and social issues. "AHWAAN" is started with a vision of becoming India's largest movement for social and environmental sustainability. All the events that we are conducting have had the larger goal of benefit of the society in mind. It's a must attend for aspiring engineers and entrepreneurs and those who wish to network and spread their work more. A good 3-day change of perception too.
