Higher Education Department is inviting application through Common Application form for Award of Different "Medhabruties" for meritorious students of Odisha pursuing Higher Studies in the field of general, technical/professional education within or outside the State for the year 2012-13. www.freshersworld.com

Eligibility : Students must be permanent resident of Odisa. Provided that children of Odisha State Government employees can also these scholarships irrespective of their location subject to fulfillment of other terms & conditions. Income ceiling of parents shall not exceed Rs.6.00 lakhs per annum. For General Scholarship the minimum eligibility mark is 70% 9for boys) and 60% (For girls). For PG Scholarship (for boys), the minimum eligibility marks for Science stream- 70% for Arts & Commerce stream-60%, (for girls) all streams-60%. For Technical & Professional Scholarship there is no minimum eligibility mark, but Scholarship shall be awarded be according to the rank obtained in OJEE/All India Examinations.
