JN Tata Endowment Scholarships (JNTE) 2010-2011
A unique feature of the JN Tata Endowment's scholarship program is its inherent flexibility and openness. The scholarship is open to all Indian nationals irrespective of caste, creed,
community, socio-economic background, gender and geographical location. All age groups, without any upper age limit, and thereby covering the entire spectrum of scholars from fresh graduates to mid-career professionals and academics with several years of work experience.Scholars pursuing higher education in all areas and fields of study, with newly emerging
fields of relevance to the country being encouraged. Scholars pursuing higher studies irrespective of course duration, the selected course being either a short term training program, or a full-fledged Master's or Doctoral program.
Eligibility Only Indian nationals are eligible for the scholarship. Graduates of a recognized Indian University, with a consistently good academic record. Students in the final year of the degree course and those awaiting final year results.
Academicians and other mid-career professionals upto the age of 45 years, with experience in their field who wish to go abroad for further specialization.
How to Apply The application is to be made on a prescribed form available in the Endowment Administrative Office from the first week of December 2009 to 15th February 2010.The prescribed application form can be obtained either personally from the Endowment's Administrative Office on payment of an application fee of Rs 100 by
cash, or by sending a request by a 'money order' for the amount giving the applicant's full name and address in the "Space for Communication" provided on both sides of the money order form. Completed applications should
reach the Endowment's office by 15th February 2010
