The Nehru Trust for Cambridge
University in collaboration with the Cambridge
Commonwealth Trust, offer scholarships including Gates
Cambridege Scholarships to pursue a course of research
leading to the degree of Ph.D at the University of
Cambridge
Citizens of India normally under the age of 30 (on 1 October
2005 ) who have first class honours degree or its equivalent
are eligible to apply. However, preference may be given to
first class Master's degree or it's equivalent.
The Scholarships, tenable for up to three years, will cover
the University Fee at the home rate, College fees, a
maintenance allowance and return airfare.
Preliminary Application Forms can be obtained from the Nehru
Trust for Cambridge University, Teen Murti House, New Delhi
- 11 by sending a self addressed envelope of 25 X 10 cms
duly stamped. Preliminary Application Forms must be returned
to the above address No Later Than 21 July 2004
Interview for Scholarships is likely to take place in June
2005
