Seventh Dr. D.C. Pavate Memorial Fellowship To Cambridge - January 2007

The Karnatak University and Dr.D.C.Pavate Foundation in collaboration with the Centre of International Studies, Cambridge offer one visiting Fellowship annually to enable a graduate from India to pursue a course of research at the University of Cambridge .

Citizens of India normally not above the age of 45 years on 1st January 2007 who have secured first class in Masters Degree or its equivalent are eligible to apply for the seventh Dr.D.C.Pavate Fellowship effective from January 2007 . Candidates with brilliant academic record would be considered in the in the academic areas of history, political science, International economics, International Law or Military Affairs.

The visiting Fellowship tenable up to three months will cover stipend of 2500 Pounds sterling and also economy class excusion return air fare and 2000 pounds sterling as academic charges of the Fellowship at the Centre of International Studies, Cambridge University. The monograph of academic research of the Fellow would be published in due-course and would be the intellectual property of Dr.Pavate Foundation

Applications can be obtained from the Private Secretary to the Vice Chancellor, karnatak University Dharwad - 580 003 or from Dr.D.C.pavate Foundation Office C-39 Neeti Bagh New Delhi - 110 049 by sending a self addressed and duly stamped envelope of 25 X 10 cms size . Applications should give full details of their academic qualifications and references. Application forms must be returened to the above address not later than 15th September 2006 . The selection would be completed by December 2006
