Narotam Sekhsaria Scholarship Programme
An initiative of the Narotam Sekhsaria Foundation
The Narotam Sekhsaria Scholarship is a merit-based programme
designed for the best and brightest minds who wish to pursue their
post-graduate studies, in India and abroad. An eminent panel of
experts will select students with a determination to scale new
heights. Besides developing an expertise in the subjects of their
choice, those selected will have a unique advantage: to be part of
our recently initiated mentoring programme. This will help further
their academic excellence, and motivate them to achieve their
desired goals in life. We expect that our Scholars, in turn, will
take on the role of mentoring the next generation
Eligibility:
1. Age limit : 30 years.
2. Students wanting to pursue post-graduate studies at prestigious
institutes in India and abroad.
3. The Scholarship extends itself to the following subjects: a) Pure
Science b) Applied Sciences c) Engineering d) Information Technology
e) Business Administration
4. Students with an excellent background in academics and other
co-curricular activities are encouraged to apply.
How to Apply :
Students under 30 may apply for this scholarship by picjing up an
application form from the office of the trust on payment of Rs.300
for applications from Mumbai and Rs.330 for outstation applications
by cash/demand draft / money order. No cheques will be accepted.
Application forms, complete in all respects, should reach the office
of the trust latest by 21st February,2006. The trust will not be
responsible for postal or other delays.
Amount of Scholarship :
This is a loan Scholarship where 50% of the total tution fee up to a
maximum of Rs.10 lac will be allocated per scholar.
