NTPC Limited a premier Public Sector Enterprise in Power Sector
invites application for scholarship under NTPC Scholarship Scheme
for Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe students pursuing full time
Diploma Course in Engineering in the discipline of Electrical,
Mechanical, Instrumentation, Electronics, Civil and
Telecommunications in any of the institute recognized by the
Government. The Scholarship is for the Academic years 2007 – 08
& 2008 – 09.
The Scholarship is payable from the Second year of study. The rate
of Scholarship is Rs.1, 000/- (Rupees One Thousand only) per month
for all the 12 months of the year for the entire period of the
course except the First year. The applicant should not be in receipt
of any other scholarship/ financial aid/ stipend from any other
source whatsoever. The other terms and conditions shall be regulated
as per the NTPC Scholarship Scheme. Interested candidates may send
their application through the Head of the Institute/ College in the
format given below within 21 days from the date of publication of
this advertisement ( Employment News Dated 6-12 October 2007 ). The
application should be accompanied by attested copy of caste
certificate, proof of date of Birth, Academic Qualification and Mark
Sheet of examinations passed. Application not received as per the
prescribed form is liable to be rejected. The completed forms may be
