ONGC Offers Scholarships to SC/ST Students for Pursuing Higher
Studies in Engineering, Geology, Geophysics & MBA
Total Scholarships offered are 75 for pursuing
higher education in following disciplines and categories:

Eligibility :
A. Candidate should be a student of either 1st year of Graduate
Engineering Course or 1st year of Master Degree in
Geology/Geophysics/M.B.A., pursuing full time course at any I.I.T/University/Institute
recognized by the Govt.of.India
B. Candidate should have obtained 60% marks in 12th class for
Engg.discipline and in graduation for P.G.Courses as applicable to
them or overall grade point average(OGPA) of 6.0 in 10 points scale
of gradiing system.
C. Annual income of parents from all sources should not be more than
Rs.1.5 lakhs ( i.e. Rs.12,500/- per month).
How to Apply :
The candidate fulfilling the above criteria may submit their typed
application along with a recent passport size attested photograph
affixed on the application, copy of mark sheets of 12th standard or
graduation as applicable, caste certificate and income certificate
issued from competent district revenue authorities not below the
rank of Tehsildar as per the following format in order of sequence only:
1. Name
2. Father's name
3. Address for communication 4. Permanent Address
5. Date of Birth
6. Whether SC/ST
7. Parent's Occupation & Income
8. Name of the present institution Course

10. I hereby certify that i am not receiving any financial
assistance/scholarship from any other source and I fulfill the
eligibility criteria as laid down by ONGC. If any information
furnished by me is found false or incorrect I shall liable to be dis-qualified
from ONGC scholarships besides refunding the amount received from
ONGC.

sent to the DM(P & A), SC/ST Cell, Room No.5, ONGC,
Tel Bhavan, Dehradun - 248 003, (Uttaranchal) so as to reach latest
by 28th November 2006
Incomplete and late application shall be rejected and no
communication in this regard will be entertained.
