>> What is e-Campus ?
e-Campus is the online
recruitment software for conducting campus recruitments from
different colleges in India.
>> How can I apply for
e-Campus ?
e-Campus recruitment is
done through freshersworld.com database. Companies who are looking
for freshers will go through the resumes submitted in
freshersworld.com by the final/pre-final year students. Hence you
can upload your resume in freshersworld.com and take part in
e-Campus.
>> How will I know if I
am short listed for a test in e-Campus ?
The companies who shortlist
your resume from freshersworld.com will send you call letters
through email for test/interview. Also the e-Campus shortlisted
UserIds will be displayed in the results
page or in www.ResultBox.com
website.
>> If I see my UserID in
the e-Campus results page am I sure to get a call letter ?
Need not be always. The
UserIDs updated in our results page
against each company is the list of profiles that we have forwarded
to the HR of that company. The company may again screen out resumes
and may call only selective people from the list. Also there
can be instances where the company had postponed the test/ or even
called-off the recruitment. So wait for a call letter from the
company.
>> How will I know the
eligibility criteria for each company ?
You may upload your latest
details with freshersworld.com and when companies searches for
resume, if your branch, % marks, location of test/interview and year
of passout matches with their requirements, you will get short listed.
>> What will happen if I
couldn't attend a test after getting the call letter ?
If you do not attend one or
two tests, your resume will be in-activated and will not be
considered for further tests. Hence update your profile with only
your nearest city where you can attend the test surely.
>> For each test in
e-Campus should I register each time in freshersworld.com ?
No. You should not register
twice with freshersworld.com. Duplicate registrations will make your
profiles in-activated and you will not be considered for further
tests.
>> Only Premier members
will be considered for e-Campus ?
Yes. In some cases where there
are not enough resumes with premier membership, Gen. members also
will be considered.
>> How should I upload
my resume ?
The registration form
submitted by you is taken as your resume/profile submitted. We are
collecting all the necessary information about you that are needed
for campus/off-campus recruitment. If your detailed resume is
required for any company, the company HR will contact you and will
ask separately. We do not accept any other form of resume
submission.
>> How long
is my registration validity ?
Your registration validity is
life long. You will be allowed to register only once with
freshersworld.com, so enter all the fields correctly. If you have
selected 'B.Tech' as your highest qualification and after two years
completed M.Tech and would like search for M.Tech Jobs, delete your existing
profile and register a new one. For deleting your profile

>> Can I
update my emailId & Contact Details later ?
Yes. fields like your mailID,
contact details & skill set. Your aggregate % marks will be updateable
only if you are still waiting for your final year marks.
>> What are
the non-updateable fields ?
Your unique details like name, DOB,
Branch, college name, University are non-updateable later. So fill all the
details correctly the first time. For this you need to delete your existing profile and register a new one. For deleting your profile

>> What if my branch is
not there in the list ?
Your are requested to enter your nearest
branch from the lists given. For eg. if your's is 'Computer Technology' select
the option 'Computer Science & Engg.' and Do Not select 'others'
because in e-Campus recruitment, the software will not detect you as CSE in
the shortlisting criteria. If your's is specific branches like ceramic engg.
etc, select the 'others' option.
>> What branch should I
take for my M.Tech qualification?
For M.Tech & M.Sc, it is better if
you select the nearest branch from the list. But if your's is specific name,
you can opt for 'others' and specify your branch.
>> How should I fill up
for 5 Yrs integrated Engg. degree ?
For 5 Yrs integrated Engg. degree, you
can select the highest degree as M.Sc/M.Tech and fill in the same details for
Graduation & Post Graduation columns. For e-Campus, only your highest
degree will be considered.
>> For MCA, how should I
fill in my graduation details ?
If your graduation in any engg. field,
select it from the list. Else select 'others' and specify your main subject.
For e-Campus, only your highest degree will be used for short listing and all
your resume details will be included when the profiles is send to the
employer.
>> How should I enter
Diploma details ?
If diploma is your highest degree select
'other graduates' as your highest degree and select the specific branch from
the list. If you have done Engg after the diploma, skip the diploma details
and enter only Engg. details in the graduation column.
If you do not have higher secondary and instead only diploma, then you can
enter diploma details in place of higher secondary/10+2.
>> Our marks are in CGPA.
How can I enter that ?
All the marks entered should in % format
only. If your's is CGPA, convert it into % marks. For eg CGPA of 7.2/10 can be
converted as 72%. For e-Campus short listing resumes will be searched across
with % marks as the criteria.
>> How to enter 'Preferred
city for interview ?
Mention your nearest city for
test/interview in the order. Enter your current city of residence exactly.
After your college when you move to another city, update it accordingly.
>> How will I get my
UserID ?
Your UserID will be generated once you
submit the registration form. Your UserID will have your Branch code followed
by digits. For eg ece2376, mch8721, cse5621 etc. Also you will get a mail
mentioning your UserID & Password. Please remember this UserID and prompt
it with all your correspondence with us.
>> How should I upload
my resume ?
The registration form
submitted by you is taken as your resume/profile submitted. We are
collecting all the necessary information about you that are needed

ask separately.
>> How can I login to my
account & update my resume ?
You can login from the home
page of freshersworld.com using your UserId & Password. After
logging into your account, you can update your resume (look for the
link on the right side top "Edit
Profile").
>> Can I change my
password ?
Yes. You can change your
password anytime.
>> Why is that some of
the fields are non updateable ?
Some fields like your name, sex, Branch,
college name need not be updated later. Make sure you enter the details
correctly the first time. Remember, this is freshersworld.. There are
thousands of freshers available outside looking for job. If you couldn't enter
you details correctly for a job, there are others who could do that...
>> I have accidentally
entered some of the non-updateable fields wrongly. How can I correct it ?
We do not encourage fields like name,
DOB, college name etc to be changed.
Since some of the errors like incorrect branch name or DOB entered are irreversible, we
can only delete your current registration and you can register a fresh resume
in our database. If you wish to delete your current profile from the database,
login to your account using the UserID & Password. On the right side,
you will see an option to delete profile.
Pls note, if you make a duplicate
registration without deleting the current one, your registration may go
invalid and all your profiles may be inactivated. If you are already a premier
member and want to delete your profile, you will need to upgrade it to premier
membership again separately.
>> Why should I upgrade
to Premier Membership ?
Since anybody can upload
resumes to freshersworld.com, screening out real resumes with
correct % of marks and branch details have become difficult. These
days companies are asking for reliable resumes which have passed
through an initial screening. Hence in order to filter out
junk/dummy registrations, we are considering only Premier resumes.
>> How can upgrade my
self to Premier Membership ?
After registering with
freshersworld.com, login to your account using your UserID &
Password. Here you will see a link for Premier updation.
>> How will I check if I
am a Gen. Member or Premier member ?
Once you login to
freshersworld.com, beside your name, your membership status will be
displayed.
>> After applying for
Premier Membership, how long will it take to get activated ?
It depends on the type of
activation you opt for. If it is instant activation, it will be done
in 24 Hrs. Else for other activations methods, it will take 2-3
days.
>> What are the services
available for Premier Members ?

>> I am a Premier
Member. Should I apply for the jobs given in Hot Jobs ?
Yes. Only for e-Campus
recruitment, your resume will be automatically selected from our
database. For other jobs where an online application link or an
emailID to send the resumes is given, you need to apply individually
by yourself.
