Academic Associate/Academic Assistant Jobs recruitment in Indian Institute of Mass Communication on contract basis.
Associate (Admn & Accounts)
Qualification: A) Candidates having experience in matters pertaining to administration and accounts with particular reference to disciplinary cases, staffing, recruitment rules, cadre review, court cases, income tax and accounts matters, RTI, etc. in Central Govt. Ministries/Departments, Autonomous Bodies may attend the walk-in-interview for filling up of the post in the IIMC’s Hqrs. in New JNU Campus. Preference will be given to those who have retired at the level of Under Secretaries/senior Section Officers.
Academic Associate/Academic Assistant
Job Description : The proposal is for filling up a position of Academic Associate/Academic Assistant in the IIMC. The selected candidate will be required to assist the concerned Course Director in smooth functioning of the academic programme, managing the training and teaching and also any other assignment given by the Institute.
Essential Qualifications : Master’s Degree in Journalism/Mass Communication. Alternatively, candidate should be Graduate in any subject with PDG in Journalism. He/She should also have at least 03 years’ experience in media or teaching for Academic Associate and 1 year’s experience for Academic Assistant.
Remuneration : Remuneration will be between Rs. 18,000 and Rs.25,000 for Academic Associate and Rs. 18,000 to Rs.22,000 for Academic Assistant, commensurate with the qualification and experience of the candidate. This will be as per the decision of the Selection Committee headed by the Director General, IIMC during /after the interview.
