Job Description
Walk-in Interview to engage Academic Cell Assistant at Salim Ali Centre for Ornithology and Natural History
Essential Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline, with minimum 55% marks, from a recognized University.
Desirable Qualification: i) Knowledge of computer applications
ii) Proficiency in English and Gujarati (both written & spoken), and iii) Work experience in administration;
Description of Work: The selected candidate is expected i) to handle the administrative works in the Academic Cell that coordinates SACON’s various academic programmes including M.Sc., M. Phil., Ph.D. and Internship, ii) to liaise with Academic and Examination Cells of SACON’s affiliating universities, and iii) to assist Research Coordinator and PG Course Director of SACON in other institutional activities.

Age: Below 28 years on the stipulated last date for receiving applications; The upper age limit may be relaxed up to 5 years in the case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/Women and Physically Challenged category as per Central Government norms.
Duration: One year from the date of engagement and may be extended on the basis of performance or requirement; Salary: Consolidated amount of Rs. 20,000/- per month (as per SACON rules)
