  • * 2+ years previous experience in eCommerce Account Management ; and/or vendor management experience responsible for driving online sales for the retailer either in a buying, merchandising or marketing capacity.

Job Purpose: 

  • The position is responsible for driving sales performance, market share, and brand representation/discoverability for our key ecommerce partners. 
  • We will accomplish this through purpose-driven relationship building, strategic business planning, creative promotional programming, excellent responsiveness and service, and fierce commitment to goals.

Key Accountabilities

  • * Development and implementation of an e-commerce strategy that supports the strategic and financial targets of the company
  • * Partner with key cross-functional teams to ensure all relevant organizational goals and implications are factored into eCommerce sales strategies.
  • * Communication and execution of a strategic sales plan for each national account.
  • * Analysis of sales data to identify and understand market trends and purchasing behavior.
  • * Positive working relationships with customers, co-workers and key business partners.

Specific Responsibilities

  • * Build and maintain positive, professional relationships with E-Commerce platforms, enabling Carigar Tools to be viewed as a trusted partner.
  • * Identify and execute relevant test and learn plans to improve business performance, internal learnings and capabilities.
  • * Compile, analyze and interpret data on market trends, competitive products, and pricing.
  • * Partner with various platforms to make sure they have our full catalogue. Add new products by creating upload templates from our PIM system and working with accounts to merchandise and market products appropriately to the eCommerce channel.
  • * Establish and communicate an annual plan for each national account that identifies sales goals, promotional/advertising programs, product additions, and other brand-building merchandising strategies.
  • * Meet on a weekly basis with the Sales Director to review plans and progress.
  • * Provide expertise on current eCommerce industry best practices. Consult on cross-functional projects to ensure eCommerce principles are incorporated.
  • * Provide timely customer support to prevent and quickly resolve problems with orders, products, sales initiatives, etc.
  • * Work with Carigar’s marketing team to develop advertising and promotional materials that are creatively and financially sound.
  • * Support monthly sales forecasts for national accounts, and assist with the development of spending budgets.
  • * As a key member of the sales team, contribute ideas, knowledge, and analytical support for the development of short- and long-term sales strategies.
  • * Support the efforts of other members of the sales department.
