Job Summary

JOB DESCRIPTION

Summary/Objective 

• The data entry operator is responsible for performing data entry work on computer and appropriate software; entering, updating, researching, verifying and/or retrieving data and ensuring the accuracy and confidentiality of information recorded.
  

Requirements

• Proven data entry work experience, as a Data entry operator
• Experience with MS Office and data programs
• Familiarity with administrative duties
• Experience using office equipment, like fax machine and scanner
• Typing speed and accuracy
• Excellent knowledge of correct spelling, grammar and punctuation

Responsibilities and Duties

Responsibilities

• Entries, updates and verifies data
• Insert customer and account data by inputting text based and numerical information from source documents within time limits
• Reviews and verifies data entered into database is accurate
• Tracking documents received and completion dates.
• Preparing and maintaining physical as well as the hard copy of the data for distributing reports.
• Should have a knowledge of Tally latest version.
• Making Entries in Tally and will work hand hold with the Account department.
• Ensure proper use of office equipment and address any malfunctions

Qualifications and Skills

Required Education and Experience

• Graduation / Degree or Diploma; additional computer training or certification will be an asset.
• Alpha and numeric data entry skills.
• Knowledge of Tally latest version.

• Salary: 12,000.00 to 15,000.00 /month
