Job Description
- Understanding and actively monitoring, on the concepts of Buffer Stock, Minimum Inventory, Re-Order Level
- Arranging RFQ from approved vendors for indents generated.
- Negotiating terms of price, payment and delivery for indents generated.
- Arranging and providing related documentation for shipment/dispatch of material from the vendor to the company's site.
- Ensuring material receipt with proper documentation and following up with vendor in case of short receipt.
- Arranging for dispatch details from the supplier and updating to logistics for delivery.
- Identifying items with less number of vendors and lead generation of vendors
- Follow up with potential and existing vendors for documentation for vendor approval/material approval.
