Roles and Responsibilities of Supply Team:

Order fulfilment:

• The principal role of this team is to play a very strong and positive role in order fulfilment. The team is responsible for on time completion of orders.
  

 Procurement

• Develop and implement vendor strategy.
  
• Develop vendor rating systems and regularly evaluate vendors
  
• Plan material requirement for regular production as well as project requirement
  
• Develop and build vendor relationships
  
• Manage vendor payment
  
• Negotiate credit terms with vendors
  
• Design and implement vendor improvement programs
  

Stores

• Maintain Stores
  
• Issue material for production / vendors
  
• Manage material movement from and to vendors and keep track of material
  

 Despatches

• Closely work with production and sales teams to manage order despatches
  
• Develop vendors for road, sea and air shipment
  
• Manage and implement cost reductions in material freight costs
  
• Develop and deploy systems to ensure customer happiness in product supply
  

• Continuously improve working processes in SCoop to ensure growing customer satisfaction
  
• Closely track and close customer service issues if any to ensure complete customer satisfaction
  

Knowldege & Competencies:

Skills

• Candidate should have technical competence in the field of commerce.
  
• Strong Excel skills
  
• Strong in accounts and company laws
  
• Knowledge / experience of Tally or other accounting software
  

Knowledge

• Some knowledge of Taxation, GST, eway bills etc.
• International trade – customs, duties, laws
• Imports logistics
• Domestic logistics
• Coordination with transporters

• Candidate has to be extremely methodical with a strong process orientation. 
• He should be conversant with operations management tools.
• Should enforce standards for self and team
• Should be capable of multi-tasking and have excellent Coordination skills
• Should have a pleasing personality with a calm demeanour and be capable of working with people from various walks of business life like courier boys, logistics company call centres, high profile candidates, architects etc.
• Should have clear and effective communication skills. Should have clarity of instructions, both giving as well as taking.
• Should understand customer needs, be empathetic towards concerns of all stake holders and should become the go-to person for finding a way forward in any situation.
• Should be a very good listener and possess strong oral comprehension skills.
• He should possess good problem solving skills. 
• Should have strong networking as well as analytical skills.
• Should understand the organization and be able to infuse Organisation’s values and mission in every act and communication.
