Job Description:
Job Responsibilities:-
  • Keep Sutherland aligned: Measure and monitor existing policies and procedures
  • Promote an open-door policy: Remain available to the team and encourage a collaborative environment
  • Invoice Processing - Process all invoices assigned within the required Turn-Around-Time
  • Statement Reconciliations Initiate follow up for the parked documents
  • Reversals and corrections of incorrect posted invoices
  • Handle the Blocked resolutions
  • Processing all recodes received
  • Payments - Creating Payment Proposal as per the schedule after performing Duplicate Invoice Report
  • Performing audit for payment proposal list and payment exception list
  • Getting the identified errors corrected for final payments list approval from market before completing it
  • Forecasting the payment value to treasury team
  • Maintain Payment Transit Evidence for audit compliance
  • Vendor Master - Research and Setup/Update/edit vendor accounts in the System
  • Follow up with the requester/vendor for discrepancy
  • Track all the Work-in-progress creations/modifications in the follow up tracker
  • CRC -Review 'Level 1_Pending' cases
  • Follow-up on 'Level 2_In-Progress' cases every alternate day
  • Education Requirements: College degree, Finance & Accounts, Arts background

    Experience Requirements: 0-1 years in Account payable

    To succeed in this position, you must:

    • Has worked in BPO industry in the AP Process
    • Good interpersonal skills and team player
    • Strong communication skills (verbal and written, strong command of English language
    • Understanding of accounting concepts and principles
    • Target oriented with strong focus on meeting SLA Commitments
    • Eye for detail and accuracy
    • Flexible with work shift
    • preference will be given to someone who has worked for a UK client
    • Be able to work in MS Office applications
    • Have strong facilitation and organizational skills
    • Have ability to work with a diverse group of employees and individuals
    • Be Organized and capable of meeting deadlines and managing multiple priorities
    • Have a proven track record of taking initiative and successfully managing projects
    • Have ability to build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external customers
    • Have strong analytical skills; be able to interpret data, identify trends, and make suggestions for improvements
    • Be pro-active in developing trust and professional rapport with employees and team members; able to be a team-player
    • Have strong verbal and written communication skills; able to communicate in a clear, constructive, and professional manner
    • Have knowledge of various areas of HR including benefits, employment, pay-related practices/process, compensation and company policies and procedures.
    • Be able to maintain the highest level of integrity with personal and sensitive information; demonstrate a high degree of customer service orientation and business acumen.
