AP Specialist

Pune, India

The AP Specialist will be responsible for end to end Accounts Payable (AP) process including accounting, assistance in periodic books closure, audits, and annual reporting for Qualys US entity. The candidate is expected to contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives for assigned areas.

Responsibilities

Performing daily AP activities including vendor setup, invoice processing, weekly / ad-hoc payment runs and reconciliations
Co-ordinate with internal stakeholders and vendors for timely invoice processing & payments
Ensure AP transactions are timely recorded, documented, reviewed, and supported in accordance with Qualys’s policies and SOX controls
Supporting in month closing activities including journal entries, supporting schedules, reports and analysis etc.
Reconcile expense reports and payments from Concur with NetSuite GL
Support in internal and statutory audits for AP process
Preparation of Annual Reporting (Form 1099) and related co-ordination
Assist with ad-hoc projects as needed

Requirements

MBA Finance or equivalent degree in finance
Hands-on work experience of 4+ years in AP preferably US AP
Experience in Oracle NetSuite, Concur and Coupa is preferred
Advanced MS Excel skills with a strong background in analytics and reporting
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Self-motivated and works independently
Experience of working in a multi-national software product company or SaaS preferred
Required to work in shift with a few hours of overlap with US west coast time zone
