Job Description

We are currently seeking an Agronomist / Research Analyst which would work with the trading team based out of India and the partner research team based out of London to ascertain the current crop ideas, predict crop trends and provide in time value added suggestions to the trading desk.

Roles and Responsibilities:

The selected individual will have the following roles and responsibilities to begin with –

Collection of primary and secondary data regarding agri commodities and provide weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly reports to the trading desk and higher management

Preparation of ad-hoc reports along as and when desired and keenly follow the market developments and provide prediction reports as and when asked by the higher management

Support the Partner research team in London and provide them with quantifiable data inputs and interpretations on a timely basis

Increase subscription of inhouse research reports if asked for by the higher management to external clients

Key Skills:

An eye for number and trends

Detailed report writing and data presentation skills

Excited to work in a high stress and ever-changing trading environment

Eager to learn in depth about the commodity markets in India
