Engineer (AME) job opportunities in Air
India Engineering Services Limited (AIESL) on “Fixed Term Employment
basis'
AIESL invites applications from Indian Nationals fulfilling
the requirements as on 01.08.2019 to fill up the posts of Aircraft Maintenance
Engineer (AME) as follows for:
1. B1 & B2 to cover B737-700/800/900/Max aircraft at
Trivandrum/any other station in India
2. B1 & B2 to cover B777-200LR/300ER & B787 series
aircraft at Nagpur/Mumbai/Delhi/any other station in India.
3. B1 to cover A321/A320/A319/NEO Aircraft at any station in
India
4. B1 or B2 Licence to cover ATR 72 -600,PW127 M engine at
any station in India

I. B1 AME – 20, B2- AME – 15

Qualification :
For
B737-700/800/900/Max aircraft and B777-200LR/300ER series aircraft and B 787
family aircraft.
i) Professional Qualification: a) Must possess DGCA License
to certify. b) CAR 66 CAT B1/B2 licence on B737-700/800/900/Max aircraft. c)
CAR 66 CAT B1/B2 licence on B777-200LR/300ER or B787 series aircraft. d)
Minimum one year maintenance experience as a certifying support staff with CAR
145 approved organization on B737-800/Max or B777-200LR/300ER or B787 as
applicable. e) Multiple qualified AMEs may also apply.
ii) Minimum Academic Qualification: Must have passed 10+2
with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognized Indian Board/
University or equivalent from a Foreign University.
B1 to cover
A321/A320/A319/NEO Aircraft
i) Professional Qualification: a) Must possess DGCA License
to certify b) In category B1 to cover A321/A320/A319/NEO. . c) Minimum one year
maintenance experience as a certifying support staff with CAR 145 approved
organization on B1 & B2 to cover A321/A320/A319/NEO Aircraft d) Multiple
qualified AMEs may also apply
ii) Minimum Academic Qualification: Must have passed 10+2
with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognised Indian Board/
University or equivalent from a Foreign University. NOTE: preference will be given
to the candidates having working experience of at least 01 year on B1 to cover
A321/A320/A319/NEO Aircraft.
B1 or B2 Licence to
cover ATR-72-600, PW127 M engine
i) Qualification: i) Professional Qualification: e) Must
possess DGCA License to certify f) In category B1 or B2 Licence to cover ATR
-72 -600,PW127 M engine g) Minimum one year maintenance experience as a
certifying support staff with CAR 145 approved organization on 72 -600,PW127 M
engine as applicable h) Multiple qualified AMEs may also apply.
ii) Minimum Academic Qualification: Must have passed 10+2
with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognized Indian Board/
University or equivalent from a Foreign University.
Emoluments :
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience and it will lie
in the range of INR 95,000 to INR 1,28,000 pm (tax deductions will be as per
applicable government rules). However, in exceptional cases (much higher
qualifications/ experience), it may go higher and would be at the appropriate
level of salary approved by the Co. for AME on fixed term contract basis upto
1.7 Lac (Rs. One Lac Seventy Thousand only).

General Category – Not above 53 years as on 1st August 2019
OBC – Not above 56 years as on 1st August 2019
SC/ST – Not above 58 years as on 1st August 2019
Ex-Serviceman – as per Govt. rules but not above 58 years.
Period of Contract : Fixed Term Employment for a period of 5
years, extendable depending upon requirement of AIESL. The contract can also be
terminated earlier at the discretion of the Management during the tenure of
contract in the event of unsatisfactory performance. The job is transferable to
any station in India.
Application Fee : The Non-refundable application and processing
Fee of INR 1000/- (Rupees One
thousand only) for Gen and OBC candidates and INR 500/- (Rupees 500/-
for SC/ST/EXSM) towards processing fee by means of a Demand Draft drawn in
favour of “Air India Engineering Services Limited” payable at New Delhi.
