Your Role and Responsibilities
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Good Exposure to HMC, VIO and AIX 6.x, 7.x
- Solid Understanding of Linux/Unix Administration
- Must have through knowledge on clusters
- Must have through knowledge on Volume Manager
- Must have hands on experience on Patching for AIX and Linux Virtual servers, kernel updates and other upgrade on related packages
- Must have hands-on experience for Firmware Upgrade
- Solid Understanding of Virtualization
- Server Hardware Troubleshooting and hands-on experience.
- Good Understanding on Change, Incident and Problem Management.
- Strong Communication Skills.
- Linux certification and/or administration experience - RHCSA/RHCE on Version 7 onwards.
- Exposures to Scripting skills such as Bash, Python, Perl, etc.
