Job Description

Guest Teacher Plant Protection Job vacancy in Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) on purely temporary basis

Department :  Plant Protection

Qualification : i. Good academic record as defined by the University with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in appoint scale wherever grading system is followed) at the Master’s Degree level in Plant Protection with specialization in Plant Pathology and Nematology, M.Sc. Degree in Botany/Zoology with specialization in Nematology, M.Sc. (Ag.) Nematology or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign University with specialization in Nematology. ii. Besides fulfilling the above qualification, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR, ICAR etc. iii. Notwithstanding anything contained in sub-clause (i) and (ii) above candidates, who are on have been awarded a Ph.D degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph.D Degree) Regulations, 2009 shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professor of equivalent position in University/Colleges/Institutions, The Ph.D degree should preferably be in Nematology.
