Amity Food and Agriculture Foundation Invites Applications for Project Officer
Amity University looking for experienced, competent, and committed individuals for the position of Project Officer
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Setting up and promoting FPO with membership of farmers in target cluster
- Engagement in the promotion and Nurturing of Farmer Producer Organization at Block Level and its Village level institutions.
- Engaging in Agri-Business activities to promote the products and enhance the profit of the FPO.
- Mobilisation of farms.
- Building strong rapport with District & Block Agriculture department, establishing linkages in local and Outstation Agribusiness Marketing for input and output supplies and demand.
- Coordinating with staff and internal resources
- Engagement in FPO and its members to make strategies and planning for Indenting, crop Planning, Sale, and Purchase of Produce.
- Regular field visits for providing handholding support to the community resource persons, and farmers around Agriculture and Market linkages of Produce and Input supplies.
- Influencing and drawing support from relevant stakeholders.
- Reviewing, monitoring, and tracking activities, preparation progress, and Planning.
Qualification and Experience:
- Graduate / Postgraduate in Social Work/ Agri Business from premier Institute / University.
- Preferably minimum of Five years of experience in promoting agriculture-based rural livelihoods and Agri Business
