Job Description
Summary
Under general supervision (but works independently most of the time) responsible for data scrubbing, processing and reconciliation of corporate action events in a timely manner. Follows the established procedures and processes in order to maintain efficiency in minimizing risk and provide an excellent client service. Respond to internal and external inquiries, initiating follow up inquiries or independently resolving exceptions. The position requires experience in financial markets and operational functions.
MAJOR DUTIES
Good understanding of financial products such as equities, bonds etc.
Adherence to procedures and SLA’s
Reviews daily exception reports resolving issues by applying process knowledge. Responds to internal and external inquiries.
Ensure 100% accuracy in daily deliverables
Engage with internal clients and other partners across the enterprise to resolve inquiries, incidents and challenges as quickly as possible
Follow procedures and controls as prescribed for the process and prevent operational errors.
Ensure to complete EOD tasks and submit the checklists every day without any miss.
Escalate issues which may have a significant impact on client satisfaction with sense of urgency.
Knowledge/Skills
Good analytical, verbal and written communication skills are required.
Self-starter and critical thinker with attention to details that desires a high-profile position.
Maintain professional demeanor and even approach at all times.
Demonstrate A-Approach behavior in day to day business.
Ability to adapt and react positively in a changing and dynamic work environment.
Ability to develop relationships with diverse groups and different levels of operating model.
Good spoken and written English and the ability to write business correspondence.
Basic knowledge in MS Office (particularly Excel, Power Point & Word).
Good understanding of Financial Markets, Capital markets and Accounting concepts.
Experience
Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in Accounting, Master degree is an added advantage
Should be flexible for shifts and extended working hours.
