Skills:

• Rock Solid knowledge of JAVA, Core JAVA & OOP Concepts.(MUST)

• Basic knowledge of Android SDK & NDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes.(MUST)

• Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services.

• Basic knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, interface guidelines and best practices.

• Basic Experience with offline storage (Sqlite/Realm/other).

• Good command on background/foreground threading, Services and performance tuning.

• Basic Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks.

• Basic Knowledge of cloud message APIs, Firebase and push notifications.

• Basic Knowledge of Retrofit, Glide, GSON and other common libraries.

• A knack for benchmarking and optimization for mobile devices.

• Experience of Ad Network integrations like AdMob, Facebook, Flurry, Mopub etc.

• Ability to take up R&D activities and resolve issues.

• Experience with version control (GIT, SVN, etc.).

• Basic Knowledge on React Native will be plus.

Key Responsibilities

Translate designs and wire frames into high quality code

• Design, build, and maintain high performance, reusable, and reliable Java code

• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application

• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs

• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization

• Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different

screen sizes, Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services

• Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices, Experience with

offline storage, threading, and performance tuning

• Ability to design applications around natural user interfaces, such as 'touch'

• Familiarity with the use of additional sensors, such as gyroscopes and accelero meters,

• Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks
