Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Act as the SME, work closely with Front Office, maintain a single point of contact of SG CDDS Team and prioritize the completion of recertification pipeline according to ever changing demands, and deliver satisfactory results

Act as the SME to support driving the changes of the bank – e.g. process change, platform, working group, etc.
Ensure issues are raised timely and own proposed course of actions to line management to identified risks and blocking points. Also seek to identify, analyze, report and explore proposed course of actions to line management in relation to production, policy and system issues
Analysis of failures (monthly reports that provided by FLDS C&M), including categorization into policy knowledge gaps, policy interpretation issues or lack of attention to detail, and propose solutions on how to these failures
Coach and provide guidance to other new / junior team members; share the best methods with the team members such as conduct huddles on policy updates, policy reminders, FAQ, etc.
Conduct periodic Know Your Client (KYC) reviews of existing clients, performing enhanced due diligence, and ensuring overall compliance with CS procedural standards
Embedding AML/KYC policies into Name screening periodic reviews.
Verification in accordance with local regulatory (MAS/HKMA) and Credit Suisse policies and procedures
Ensuring Sanctions, PEP and Adverse Media / Negative News screenings performed in accordance within CS procedures

University Graduate with Bachelor of Law / Accounting / Business / Economics / Finance and related academic qualifications
At least 5-8 years of related experience in a KYC related role in Private Banking / Wealth Management
Strong understanding of AML/CFT regulations and requirements in Asia Pacific countries, notably Singapore, Hong Kong and international AML standards (FATF, Wolfsberg);
Strong analytical ability, and a problem solving skills with the ability to think out of the box
A commitment to quality

Ability to drive open work to completion
Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to set priorities, supervise own and team workload to meet aggressive deadlines
