Your Role and Responsibilities
You will be responsible for building and provisioning Windows workloads in Managed Services and Cloud Environment. You will be part of overall Deployment Team who would provide end to end Infrastructure Builds for IBM and IBM customers. You would need to partner with different engineering teams, peer engineers and project management team to provide/build an overall solution as per the requirement.

• Build / Verify hardware and software configuration and system integrity by comparing the appropriate operational and functional characteristics with a predetermined or referenced standard.
• Build / Validate that the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) records correctly describe the characteristics of Customer and Infrastructure equipment and meets mandatory requirements to maintain our Service Level Agreements (SLA).
• Report all defects and results from testing.
• Knowledge of Physical infrastructure design and implementation including but not limited to:

Cisco Network
Cisco SAN
Power8
Lenovo
NetApp
TSM

• Develop and write Build/test procedures
• Develop automated steps
• Schedule operational equipment for support services
• Continually build knowledge and proficiency in Build / testing methodologies (Scripted testing and manual Build / test cases).
• You should be able to work during US time zone from 05:30 PM IST to 02:30 PM IST.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• You should have a bachelor's degree or higher.
• You must have minimum of 3 – 5 years of both Manual & Automated Testing experience with Operating System, Server Hardware Configurations and Applications
• You must have knowledge/expertise in deploying, configuring, troubleshooting and supporting the following products:
  Windows 2012 and 2016
  DNS / Active Directory
  WSUS
  NAS/SAN/iSCSI storage
  RAID and NIC Teaming
  Remote Management of Devices (ILO/IPMI)
  Lenovo, HP, Supermicro Server hardware
  Powershell scripting
• Prefer a WINDOWS candidate with familiarity of:
  IBM Cloud Service (SoftLayer) and SL Portal
  VMWare and OVM environments

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Your previous experience developing and documenting test procedures, results criteria and automated steps is a major plus.
• Your knowledge of IP, Subnet, VLAN, ACL, HTTP, SSL, SNMP, SSH is a plus
• Your understanding of functional & technical specifications, documentation and QA processes is a plus
• Any other industry certification is a plus
• You love collaborative environments that use agile methodologies to encourage creative design thinking and find innovative ways to develop with cutting edge technologies
• Ambitious individual who can work under their own direction towards agreed targets/goals and with creative approach to work
• Intuitive individual with an ability to manage change and proven time management
• Proven interpersonal skills while contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
• Up-to-date technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing publications
