Remote- Applications Developer

Experience :  3 - 8 years

Location :  Chennai, Pune, Mumbai Suburbs, Trivandrum, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Kochi, Hyderabad, Visakhapatnam

We are looking for a junior to mid-level developer who is excellent at HTML, CSS and JavaScript based frameworks.

Essential Functions:

• Within the context of developing automated information systems, one or more of the following functions constitutes the minimum responsibilities to be performed by an Application Developer:
• For large project efforts, help analyze data, identify informational or process requirements/needs, identify problems, provide technical advice or consultation, and develop logical solutions to problems Assist in the development of project plans, use estimation tools and techniques for assigned tasks.
• Help construct detailed design specifications (technical or business) based on business partner requirements.
• Assist in the development of data and process modeling to meet business partner requirements.
• Code complex programs to meet design specifications.
• Help design and construct data conversion, access or retrieval approaches.
• For complex programs, generate and execute test plans for lifecycle stages; unit test and debug programs as necessary.
• Help define and develop the test and production environment, coordinate the migration of the system, and/or coordinate efforts with other IT projects.
• Adhere to architectural guidelines, standards and delivery discipline processes; document the various computer systems enhancements/modifications or information retrievals/updates and update/create procedures.
• Interact and effectively communicate with business partners and other IT staff; act as an information resource by providing assistance and support to team members.
• Assist in evaluating vendor packages and make recommendations.
• Remain current on information technology and techniques.

Job Specifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience
• Must also have training or experience in structured and/or object oriented programming concepts, prefer five years of experience
• Analytical and problem solving skills
• Knowledge of Weebly (cloud-designer.weebly.com), their apps, snippets, and APIs are desired, but not required.
• Experience in Java Spring based APIs is a plus.
• Team fit and personality are an important factor.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient with standard office software applications
• Ability to provide on-call production support as needed
• Knowledge of workstation, network and telecommunications principles
• Ability to regularly exercise discretion and independent judgment in the performance of his/her job duties
