Job Description
NHDC Limited, a premier Hydro Power Company in the state of Madhya Pradesh requires Engineering Graduates (B.E./B.Tech.), Diploma and ITI holder of MP Domicile, to be engaged as Apprentices for a period of one year during the year 2017-18, as per the Provisions of Apprentices Act, 1961 && its Amendment Act, 2014.
Qualification: a) Bachelor’s Degree (B.E./B.Tech.) in Engineering for Graduate Apprentice in the relevant branch with Minimum aggregate of 70% marks for GEN/OBC and 60% marks for SC/ST from Institute / University recognized by AICTE.
b) Diploma in relevant Engineering branch for Technical/ Diploma Apprentices from Institute/ University recognized by AICTE.
c) All candidates should have passed 10th Standard Exam. In addition they must have passed the prescribed National Trade Certificate Examination (NTC) or State Trade Certificate Examination (STC) with 60% pass marks for Gen/OBC and 55% marks for SC/ST from any Industrial Training Institute (ITI) located at Madhya Pradesh and recognized by National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT), Government of India or by the State Council for Vocational Training (SCVT), Government of Madhya Pradesh in the relevant Trades.
Note: 1. Degree/Diploma / ITI acquired from Distance/ Correspondence education system is not eligible for the apprenticeship 2. There will be relaxation in minimum marks for wards(son/daughter/spouse) of NHDC cadre Employees. 3. Candidates should have passed/ possessed the above prescribed qualification of B.E./B.Tech./ Diploma/ITI in the respective discipline / trade as on 30th May 2017. 4. Candidates having one year post qualification experience or undergone any Apprentices training for one year or more shall not be eligible to apply.

Selection Process: 1. Scrutiny of all applications received as per advertisement/ on line portal will be done to ascertain eligibility. Based on eligible applications received, selection process for Graduate/Diploma/ITI apprentices will be decided. 2. Applications received from the Wards (son/daughter/spouse) of NHDC cadre Employees will be considered separately.
Rate of Stipend: Selected candidates for respective apprenticeship training at Indira Sagar Power Station shall be paid consolidated monthly stipend as mentioned below. No other allowances or additional emoluments will be paid to them. 1. For Graduate Apprentices - Rs. 6000/- Per Month. 2. For Technical/Diploma Apprentices - Rs. 5500/- Per Month. 3. For Technician (Vocational)/ITI Apprentices - Rs. 5395/- Per Month
