Job Description
- Proficient in Human Anatomy, Physiology and Medical Terminology
- Proficient in ICD 9, ICD 10, CPT and HCPCS codes and its sub categories
- Proficient in coding for E&M, Radiology, Pathology, Cardiology and GI specialties
- Proficient in Medical Coding rules & regulations as per AAPC
- Proficient in understanding the inclusive and bundled procedure guidelines etc.
- Knowledge on Compliance mandates, guidelines and claims reimbursements
- Knowledge on the overall billing lifecycle of a claim
AR Analyst, AR Callers
- Very good written and oral English communication skills
- Initiate calls to insurance companies requesting status of claims.
- Contact insurance companies for further explanation of denials and under payments on medical claims.
- Take appropriate action on claims to guarantee resolution until the claims are reimbursed by the insurances.
- To keep an eye for detail and to ensure accurate and timely follow wherever required
- Knowledge on Compliance mandates, guidelines and claims reimbursements
- Knowledge on the overall billing lifecycle of a claim
