About the internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Make design/execution drawings on AutoCAD based on given sketches
2. Make 3D views and render using SketchUp, Lumion, or V-Ray
3. Coordinate with vendors contractors
4. Make spreadsheets or BOQ in Excel
5. Make presentations on PowerPoint
6. Work on site supervision, when required

I am an architect practicing under the banner of Rubix Design. I am based out of Mumbai and work on mostly corporate and residential interiors. I do take on a few architectural projects like second homes, villa schemes, etc. Having graduated in 2007, I have more than 12 years of experience in this field. I have worked with reputed firms in Bangalore, Abu Dhabi, and Mumbai and have handled projects in Nairobi as well. I have started my own practice in 2020.
I believe that each client is unique and hence the solution should be tailored to be the right fit. I embrace a holistic approach that not only considers the client's need but also the cultural context and aesthetic requirement of a particular project. I believe in the importance of the details that make up the big picture and hence strive to make them perfect. I collaborate with designers from different fields to deliver an end product that is visually stunning and functions efficiently.
